NEW! Infection Prevention in the Healthcare Setting 2021
This four day certificate course combines the CMS, DPH and OSHA regulations with the CDC and APIC recommendations to create a comprenhensive infection prevention program.
Topics include: CMS regulations, risk assessment, antimicrobial stewardship, water management, injection safety, competency validation, in addition to the basic IP core areas of definition of infections, surveillance, data collection and analysis, blood borne pathogens, outbreak, COVID-19, MDROs, TB, Norovirus and C. difficile.
Attendees include Infection Preventionists, beginners to experienced, Directors of Nurses and ADNs, Staff Development Nurses in LTCFs, Behavioral Health, Outpatients,
Community Health, EMS, Home Care.
